Alpen Cup Ski Jumping Final in Hinterzarten Concludes the 2025/26 Season
The Alpen Cup Ski Jumping season 2025/26 came to an exciting conclusion in Hinterzarten, where athletes from across the FESA nations gathered for the final competitions of the winter.
In the days leading up to the event, unusually warm weather posed significant challenges for the organizers. A big thank you goes to the local organizing team, who worked tirelessly under difficult conditions and did an outstanding job preparing the hill to ensure that the finals could take place as planned.
However, weather remained a factor throughout the weekend. Due to heavy snowfall on Saturday morning, the second women’s competition had to be cancelled for safety reasons.
Sporting Highlights
Despite the challenges, the competitions delivered strong performances. Over the weekend, Germany secured two victories, while France claimed one win.

Nations Cup Victory for Slovenia
After a total of 13 competitions each for women and men, Slovenia emerged as the overall winner of the Nations Cup, underlining the nation’s strength and consistency throughout the entire Alpen Cup season.
Special Recognition
During the weekend, the ski jumping community also took the opportunity to recognize Sten, long-time coach of the Slovenian women’s team, who is retiring. We extend our sincere gratitude for his dedication and commitment to the development of women’s ski jumping over many years.
With the successful finale in Hinterzarten, the Alpen Cup once again confirmed its importance as a key stepping stone for young athletes on their path to the highest levels of international ski jumping.
