Alpine Action in Les Menuires (FRA)

From March 6 to 8, 2025, the FESA Alpine Ski Games took place in the French Alpine resort of Les Menuires. Perfectly organized by the CLUB DES SPORTS DES MENUIRES in cooperation with the French Ski Federation, the event delivered exciting alpine ski action under ideal conditions. On a technically challenging yet fair course, competitions were held in the disciplines of slalom, giant slalom, and super-G. Numerous young athletes from various nations showcased impressive performances and competed in thrilling races.

In the men’s giant slalom, Germany celebrated a double victory: Horvath Ben took first place ahead of his compatriot Mund Elias. Third place went to Charles Lemerond from the USA. In the women’s race, American athlete Rowekamp Katie dominated and secured the win ahead of France’s Leane Hermitte and Italy’s Giada Dantonio.

Charles Lemerond (USA) took his revenge in the men’s slalom, claiming victory with a strong performance. Sevan Laroche of France finished second, while Frederik Pohlmann from Germany completed the podium in third place. The women’s slalom also delivered top-level competition, with Giada Dantonio (Italy) taking the win ahead of Coline Bourgeois (France) and Kira Hiebert (USA).

With perfectly prepared slopes, smooth logistics, and a great atmosphere, a professional setting was created that offered the international ski youth an ideal stage. The FESA Games in Les Menuires clearly demonstrated the strength and potential of the next generation of alpine skiing talents in Europe and beyond.
