FESA 3Hills Tour 2026 enters its second edition
The FESA 3Hills Tour Youth 1 (YoB: 2012-2014) will return from 5–9 August 2026 for its second edition, bringing together Europe’s most promising young athletes in Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. The tour will be staged in the central German skisport centres of Pöhla, Klingenthal and Bischofsgrün.
The participation of 70 athletes has already been confirmed by Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Slovenia, and Switzerland, highlighting the growing international importance of the event within the European youth calendar.
Compact competition format
The tour combines individual and team competitions across three venues:
- 6 August – Pöhla: Individual Ski Jumping (HS 66)
- 7 August – Klingenthal: Ski Jumping Team Competition and Nordic Combined Single Mixed Team event (HS 68)
- 9 August – Bischofsgrün: Individual Nordic Combined and Individual Ski Jumping competitions (HS 71)
Overall FESA 3Hills Tour trophies will be awarded to the top three athletes in both Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. In addition, the “Rookie of the Day” prize will honour the best athlete born in 2013 or younger.
Focus on youth development
The central goal of the FESA 3Hills Tour is to support the long-term development of young Nordic athletes. By competing on three different hills and in various formats within a single week, athletes gain valuable experience.
FESA views the tour as an important development platform between national youth competitions and future participation in FESA Alpencup and FIS events. The combination of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined encourages a holistic approach to athlete education, promoting technical, physical and mental development at an early stage.
Following a successful premiere, the 2026 edition represents another important step in establishing the FESA 3Hills Tour as a permanent fixture for Europe’s next generation of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined athletes.
