FESA Biathlon Alpen Cup 2025/26 Season Opens in Pokljuka
The FESA Biathlon Alpen Cup will officially launch its 2025/26 season in Pokljuka, Slovenia, with two sprint competitions scheduled for Saturday, 20 December, and Sunday, 21 December 2025.
The season opener is expected to attract approximately 200 athletes and will bring together a strong international field. Competitors from Slovenia (SLO), Germany (GER), Austria (AUT), Spain (ESP), Switzerland (SUI), Australia (AUS), Norway (NOR), the Netherlands (NED), Japan (JPN), the Czech Republic (CZE), Slovakia (SVK), and Liechtenstein (LIE) are set to compete.
Pokljuka, one of Europe’s most established biathlon venues, provides ideal conditions for high-level competition and has a long-standing tradition of hosting international biathlon events. The sprint races will mark the first opportunity of the season for athletes to earn valuable Alpine Cup points and set the tone for the winter ahead.
