FESA Congratulates Alexander Ospelt on Election as New FIS President — 57th FIS Congress in Belgrade

The 57th FIS Congress took place in Belgrade, bringing together the international ski and snowboard community for one of the most important governance events in our sport. 

Election of the FIS President

On 11 June, the election of the FIS President took place. FESA extends its sincere congratulations to Alexander Ospelt (LIE) on his election as the new FIS President. We wish him every success in his upcoming term of office and look forward to seeing him drive ski and snowboard sport forward at the highest international level.

FESA looks forward to a strong and productive collaboration with the new FIS leadership — a partnership built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect. We are convinced that strong associations which inspire and support one another are key to advancing skiing and snowboarding as a whole. Together, we can achieve more for our athletes, our member nations, and the sport we all love.
