The FESA Nordic Commission Meetings for Cross-Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, and Nordic Combined took place on 15 April 2026 in Roppen, hosted by FESA partner SUPERSNOW.

A total of 25 participants from various member nations attended the meetings, reflecting the strong international cooperation within FESA’s Nordic disciplines.

The main objectives of the sessions were the evaluation of the 2025/26 season, the planning of the 2026/27 competition calendars, and discussions on potential rule adaptations across all disciplines.

At the beginning of the meetings, the FESA Secretary General, Jakob Winkler, provided a comprehensive overview of the work carried out by the FESA Management Team over the past year. Special thanks were expressed to all local organizing committees (OCs) for the successful delivery of FESA competitions, as well as to the member nations for their strong participation. The achievements and performances of the athletes throughout the season were also warmly acknowledged.

FESA reaffirmed its core mission: through its competitions, the organization aims to provide a platform for the development of the next generation of Nordic athletes, supporting their progression towards the highest international level.

A particular highlight of the meeting was the guided factory tour by Martin Ganzer (CEO SUPERSNOW) through the production facilities of SUPERSNOW. The visit offered valuable insights into modern snowmaking technology and its important role in winter sports.

Snow remains the essential foundation for all Nordic disciplines and for the work of organizing committees. Reliable snow production is key to ensuring that competitions can take place and that FESA can continue to offer a high-quality platform for youth and athlete development across Europe.
