Record Participation and Strong Performances at the Alpen Cup Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined in Seefeld
The FESA Alpen Cup Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined took place in Seefeld (AUT) from December 19 to 21, 2025, marking a historic weekend with record participation numbers and high-quality competition across all categories.
In Ski Jumping, a new participation record was set with 92 men and 43 women at the start, representing the highest number of competitors ever in an Alpen Cup ski jumping event.
In Nordic Combined, 78 men and 18 women competed, underlining the strong development of the discipline within the FESA nations.
Challenging Conditions Successfully Managed
The event presented a major organizational challenge due to unseasonably warm temperatures in the days leading up to the competitions. Thanks to the excellent preparation, flexibility, and dedication of the organizing team in Seefeld, the competitions were carried out smoothly and at a high sporting level, earning positive feedback from teams and officials alike.
First-Ever FESA Livestream
For the first time, the Alpen Cup competitions were broadcast live via livestream on the official FESA website, allowing fans, teams, and federations across Europe to follow the events in real time and further increasing the visibility of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined within the FESA framework.
