Successfull 2nd stop of the FESA Biathlon Alpencup in Hochfilzen

 The second stop of the FESA Biathlon Alpencup was successfully held in Hochfilzen, once again confirming the venue’s status as one of Europe’s leading biathlon locations.

The event attracted athletes from 13 nations, not only from FESA member countries, highlighting the growing international relevance of the series. With around 350 athletes per competition day, the races were very well attended and highly competitive.

The competition programme featured a Sprint on Saturday and a Short Individual on Sunday, offering varied and demanding race formats for athletes from youth to senior categories. Excellent track preparation, and professional organisation ensured fair and exciting competitions throughout the weekend.

From a sporting perspective, strong performances were recorded across all age groups. In the different categories from youth to seniors, the following nations achieved victories: Germany with 10 wins, Austria with 4 wins, and Switzerland with 2 wins.
