Third FESA Continental Cup Successfully Held in Seefeld
The third stop of the 2025/26 FESA Continental Cup Cross-Country Skiing season took place from 9–11 January 2026 in Seefeld, Austria, following a short-notice relocation from the originally planned venue in Oberwiesenthal. Thanks to the outstanding flexibility and professionalism of the organizers, the event was delivered at a very high level.
FESA extends its sincere appreciation to SC Partenkirchen (GER) and SCMK Hirschau (GER), whose strong commitment and close cooperation ensured the smooth and successful execution of the competitions under challenging circumstances. Their efforts made it possible to provide fair and well-prepared race conditions for all teams and athletes.
Athletes from approximately 30 nations took part in the event, underlining once again the international importance of the FESA Continental Cup. Over the three competition days, the program included Sprint Classic (C), Interval Classic (C), and Mass Start Free (F) races.
The victories were shared among several leading nations. France (FRA) dominated the weekend with seven wins, while Italy (ITA) secured three victories and Germany (GER) two.
After the competitions in Seefeld, the current leaders in the overall standings are:
-
U20 Women: Sarah Hoffmann (GER)
-
U20 Men: Frederico Pozzi (ITA)
-
Women: Theresa Fürstenberg (GER)
