FESA Continental Cup Cross-Country
The Continental Cup is the worldwide second-highest race series in cross-country skiing. Divided into several geographical regions, it plays a central role in the development pathway of athletes on their way to the World Cup.
The FESA Continental Cup brings together the national ski associations of Andorra, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Spain, and Switzerland. It offers talented young athletes the chance to gain valuable international experience and prepares them for the challenges of World Cup racing. Competitions are held in the categories Women, Women U20, Men, and Men U20, with additional strong support for U23 athletes on their way to the top level.
Importantly, the leader of the Continental Cup has a personal right to start at the following World Cup period, making the series an essential steppingstone to the highest level of competition.
The series takes place annually from December through March. Approximately 15 competitions are scheduled across 6 weekends, providing athletes with a well-structured and competitive racing calendar to build consistency and performance.
FESA Games
For the youngest generations, the highlight of the season is the annual FESA Games, organized for U16 and U18 athletes. The event serves as one of the very first international competitions in a young skier’s career, offering both a performance test and an inspiring opportunity to measure themselves against international peers.
